Is Vegas The BEST Shopping Experience In The USA?

The Premium Outlets

"Shopping is better than sex. If you're not satisfied after shopping, you can exchange it for something you really like."

I am not saying that shopping in Las Vegas has any similarities to the pleasures of sex, but when it comes to shopping Vegas is in a league of its own!

Should Vegas be regarded as one of THE top places to shop in the whole of the USA?

Yes, I think it should be. When you take into consideration that 80% of the casinos on the strip have a mall. Then we have the Fashion Show Mall and the two Premium Outlet locations there is probably more shopping to be done here in than anywhere else. And it’s all located in under 3 miles on the famous Las Vega Blvd.

The Premium Outlets are located at the north and south ends of the Blvd. They have fantastic discounts and offerings all year round, in pretty much every store. From Nike to Dolce & Gabbana, there is everything available to suit everyone’s wallet.

With around 150 stores at each location, it could potentially be a long day for those partners who are not that excited by the thought of traipsing through each outlet store.

That said, there are some bargains to be had, and if you’re visiting from the UK, you can look to save around a third of the regular ticket price in comparison to what you would generally find on the high streets back home.

Buses are available from the Las Vegas Blvd to take you to either Outlet, check out this website for an up to date timetable of when and where you can catch the bus at, Moovit.

Fashion Show Shopping Las Vegas

If you already have transportation, there is an extensive amount of parking available on-site, and best of all it’s free as well!

Fashion Show Mall is located opposite the Wynn and Encore at the north end of the strip. It was beautifully re-designed in 2001 to incorporate a huge silver “cloud” fixed over the front entrance, that looks like something taken out of a sci-fi film.

Located in the mall’s central atrium, surrounded by shops and restaurants, there is an actual retractable runway that has seasonal and fashion show events, that allows for a great experience while also enjoying the shops.

If you are in town for Christmas be sure to check out their events calendar because they always have something going on, from catwalks to free movies to sit back and enjoy.

Most of the larger companies/brands are located here; Macy’s, Dick’s, Sporting Goods, Apple, Diesel, and Neiman Marcus. It really is a great place to shop, eat and drink, with so many restaurants available, you can easily be consumed by shopping and eating here all day.

Oh, and there is also free parking here as well, no getting ripped off with the casinos exuberant parking fees either!

My recommendation for which mall’s to visit inside the casinos would be; Grand Canal Mall inside the Venetian. Beautifully laid out and surrounding the enchanting Gondola Canal and St Mark’s Square, it allows for a very relaxing experience as the Gondoliers fill the air with beautiful classical music.

Miracle Mile Mall at Planet Hollywood is one of the biggest to visit. At just over 1 mile long, there are 200 stores for you to shop, eat and drink your way through! Allow a few hours to get around it all.

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. One of the all-time greats, this mall pretty much has it all. High-end designer brands to vast H&M and Nike stores, to some of the best restaurants on the entire strip! You pretty much find it all here at Forum.
